InuYasha had a love by the name of Kikyo, who pinned him to a forbidden tree because he stole the scared jewel of four souls from her village. But to find out it was a crule trick created by Naraku an very evil half spider demon. 500 years later in current Japan a 15 teen year old school girl was pulled in to a well by a huge centipede demon. When she came out of the well she was 500 years back in the past at what her gramps called "futile japan." She saw and young boy(Inuyasha) with white little ears, and white hair pinned to a tree, but she thought he was asleep, but he was really under a curse by Kikyo's arrow. 2 hours later he some how was awoken by the presents of the modern girl. Well to find out Kikyo (InuYasha former lover) died because of Naraku's evil game. She also burned the jewel of four souls with her body. When come to find out Kagome (the 15 year old girl) was the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo. When the centipede came back looking for her they got in to a fight. The centipede ripped some flesh just enough to unveiled the jewel of four souls within her. Then everyone was sure that she was a reincarnation of Kikyo. Even though InuYasha did not, and would not believe that she was even remotely like his lover Kikyo. A day later Kagome was going to leave the hut after people told her not to because of demons, they might take the jewel of for souls and that might ruin the whole world. She left anyway to try to find her way home. On her way to the well she came out of she was kidnapped in the woods by humans who need the jewel of four souls to make them stronger for battle.
